Mobile signal inside your home in Elche

Elche has 245,557 inhabitants and 326.5 km². The figure that matters to us is a different one: 81.61 % live in the urban core, which leaves more than 54,000 people spread across the municipality's many rural districts and hamlets.

Fifty-four thousand people living in the Elche countryside is probably the largest concentration of scattered houses in the whole province. And a scattered house in the Elche countryside has exactly the same problem as a scattered house in Rojales — there are just far more of them.

Why it happens here

In Elche, the cause to expect — distance

The mast exists, but it is far away

Flat ground and a house away from the village. What arrives is already spent, and at that distance the little that is left will not go through a wall.

This is reasoning from the published geography of Elche, not a measurement: we have measured nothing here yet and we are not going to pretend otherwise. All four causes are explained in full in why you have no signal inside your house, and the symptom that usually goes with this one in Poor mobile signal at home.

The ground

What we look at on a roof in Elche

The Elche municipal area is a plain bounded to the north by the sierras of La Madera (365 m), Negra (340 m), Tabaiá (403 m) and La Losa (268 m), and crossed by the Vinalopó, whose valley reaches 100 metres deep. On the plain and in the palm groves the sum is the usual one: distance against height. But along the northern edge, at the foot of those sierras, and in houses set down in the river's cut, shadow appears. They are two different problems in one municipality, and they are not solved with the same antenna or the same bearing.

What there is most of in Elche

Flats in a block

No roof of your own, and the communal roof is a communal element: you need two permissions, the operator's and the association's.

Town houses between party walls

Party walls both sides: signal only comes in from the street and the yard. The back of the house usually calls for a second indoor antenna.

All four types of home, in full: where the antenna goes depending on yours.

We have no published measurement for Elche. Everything above is reasoning from published geography. The day we install here, the before-and-after photo of the phone screen will be on this page.

How we work

We measure We ask for authorisation We install We test

1

We measure

Indoors, outdoors and on the roof, with a meter. If nothing can be done, we say so before starting.

2

We ask for authorisation

From your operator, in writing and in your name. Without it nothing is installed, and you pay for no installation.

3

We install

Aimed outdoor antenna, booster and indoor antenna. Half a day.

4

We test

We measure again in the same spot and make a call with you before we leave.

The work

What we install in Elche

The outdoor antenna on your own terrace or on the communal roof — with the owners' association's permission, which we request just as we do the operator's — the down-lead where the association allows, the booster indoors and the indoor antenna in the hallway. Your phone has network again on your usual number and your usual SIM. No router, no WiFi, no change of provider: this is how the booster works.

Without your operator's prior authorisation we do not install, and then you pay for no installation: the law, with the full official notice. And we do not promise 112.

And if your case can be fixed for free, we say so before charging you anything: the five ways to improve the signal at home begin with two that cost nothing. Prices are the same across the area: 590, 890 and 1,190 € including VAT, a single payment, set out here.
